Think It's Finally Time to Leave My Under-The-Rock Lifestyle...

Yup. Just as the title suggests... I've had... quite the experience this year--mid February. It was such a life-changing blow to me, that ever since, I've acquired some serious sleeping problems. I try to workout during the day to tire myself out so I could get some sleep, but all that ends up doing is tiring out my body, with no change to my hours of sleep. I lay tirelessly for hours till the sun comes up, and finally manage to sleep. But this results in me waking up in the middle of the day. My fight for sleep is continuing, and I hope it'll get fixed very soon.

Anyway, aside from my sleeping issues.. I've become quite anti-social. I didn't want to associate myself with others, nor did I want to talk about my problems with anyone. What's the point? But I told myself enough is enough. Can't live like a zombie any longer. (As much as I'd like to.)

So, last Friday, a few of my friends from high school decided to visit me. I hadn't seen them since HS graduation back in 2010. It was so nice to see their faces and hear about how their lives are changing.

Here are some photos from my meeting with them last Friday!

James and Fred!

Greg and I

Get this. Fruit Loops Shake. WUUUUUUT?! It was so good! They look the flavors of the individual different colors of cereal, mixed them together to create this masterpiece. Out of this world.

A create-your-own mac and cheese! I added mushrooms, garlic, and jalapeno bacon.

Fred driving with his sunglasses over his glasses. hahaha

In order to talk.. we need some beer! Fred and I let it alllllll out with the challenges we've been facing recently.

aaaaaand finishing it off with some korean karaoke. haha these guys.

And finally.. to end the day... with more drinks! haha.

Friends are such lovely gifts from God that we take for granted. Going through such a hard time in my life from the past few months, I come to realize that friends are such gems who really can make a difference in your life. Running into the wrong ones, well, will do the opposite. I'm so thankful to have such wonderful friends who genuinely care about me! And of course, likewise, me the same to them!

We all fall into deep endless ditches, thinking we never want to leave. Just sinking it deeper and deeper. We all must realize that there is noone but yourself to drag yourself out of that hole! If you, yourself are not willing to move on, or change, it's useless. There can only be so much external help. You have to snap out of it yourself. Be strong!

Best,
Jinna

Hello,
I hope you sorted out your sleeping schedule. Do you stress out a lot or feel anxious? I tend to drink a warm glass of milk or a cup of chamomile tea before I went to bed :). Also, I am glad you hang out with your friends. Friends are amazing and we always needed them no matter what!

Omigosh, you look like you had a great time! I haven't seen my HS friends in over a year... sigh. I only text them very, very rarely... I miss them now.
